Managing Consultant

What You'll Do:

• Support Sage Intacct-related projects, which include gathering and understanding requirements, designing future state solutions, directing implementations, addressing post-production support escalations, conducting health checks and gap analysis assessments, and overseeing enhancements
• Leverage knowledge of key accounting business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, etc.) to solution complex issues within the CFO's office
• Collaborate with CrossCountry colleagues across Service Offerings (Accounting Advisory, Finance Transformation, Private Equity, other technology products) to deliver integrated solutions to Sage Intacct customers
• Identify issues, risks, and conflicts within the project and develop timely resolutions with project leadership
• Support project administration activities, encompassing project setup, planning, budgeting, account management, and billing, ensuring smooth project completion
• Provide insights to clients' teams, sharing industry-leading practices and guiding them towards optimal solutions
• Participate in business development initiatives including supporting project scoping and solution engineering to cultivate new client relationships and expand existing ones
• Mentor team members by coaching colleagues, providing regular ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews, and helping project teams resolve multi-faceted issues

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of relevant experience with the functional and technical design of multiple modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, consolidations, etc.) within a Financial System solution (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics)
• Prior experience in professional services (public accounting, advisory firm, or management consulting firm)
• The ability to work with data to meet export/import requirements, demonstrating knowledge in data formatting and manipulation
• Preferred prior experience advising commercial companies in one or more of the following areas: finance optimization, operations improvement, business process improvement, change management, program or project management
• Project management experience in supporting the development of project plans, delivering status meetings, supporting communication and alignment with key client stakeholders and internal team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or similar technical discipline
• Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist certification
• Willingness to travel based on client preferences
