Director

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Director (multiple openings) in Highlands Ranch, CO to:

• Manage a team of software engineers, ensuring that staff are fully engaged, motivated and productive; this includes personnel management, staff career growth and performance reviews.
• Manage large scale software projects, taking absolute ownership with end-to-end planning, resource management and communications.
• Ensure product systems are always available and provide whatever effort is required to achieve the absolute objective.
• Deliver software and systems to the highest levels of security at Visa.
• Instill best practices for software development, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high quality work on tight schedules.
• Provide mentorship to develop and nurture staff.
• Hire critical talent and identify key staff to become the next generation of leaders in the Gateway Services department and beyond.
• Lead strong partnerships with key stakeholders including product management, operations, cyber security, and quality assurance.
• Engage in technical and functional discussions with engineering teams.
• Position reports to the Employer’s Highlands Ranch, Colorado office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field and 12 years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer technology-related occupation.
• Design and development of back-end processing systems;
• End-to-end software development lifecycle;
• Designing, developing, and supporting large-scale, mission critical systems in a high availability fault tolerant business environment;
• Software productivity, work processes, development methods and product support capability;
• Implementing cybersecurity throughout the software lifecycle including data at rest & in-transit encryption solutions, secure coding, vulnerability management and security compliance; and
• Linux, Java, Spring, Rest APIs, MySQL, TCP/IP, and Angular/React.
