.NET Software Engineer

Description of Task to be Performed:

AnaVation is looking for a talented .NET Software Engineer who is passionate about technology and working with cutting edge software and hardware to support our mission-critical customer in Huntsville, AL, while maintaining communication with the team that also resides in Chantilly, VA. As one of the first engineers in Huntsville, the position does have the possibly of leadership capability and growth.

As a valued member, you’ll contribute your expertise in programming, software development, troubleshooting, and supporting web applications to drive impactful solutions forward.

The successful candidate will develop a web application with a micro-front-end (MFE) application architecture. The candidate will be developing in AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology. The developer will work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application. Support will include, but is not limited to, the gathering, analysis, and development of specifications/requirements provided by the system owner. The developer may be tasked with supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of life cycle development. The contractor will need to be able to work both in .NET back end and Vue front end application development.

This position is on-site in Huntsville, AL and requires an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph.

Required Qualifications:

• 8 + years experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web, or microservices, database, search).
• Experience with leading or advanced programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability.
• 5+ years experience with C#/.NET development.
• 3+ years experience Strong JavaScript/TypeScript Application Development in Vue.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Experience in Test Driven Development.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Atlassian tools: Gitlab/Jira.
• Experience with data analysis, transformation, and visualization.
• Understanding of UI design principals.
• Understanding of ElasticSearch Queries and Aggregations.
• Experience working within Agile/SAFe frameworks.
