We’re only scratching the surface of what’s possible for the brand internationally, with 35% of sales in the UK, 35% in the USA and 30% across the rest of the world from our one eCommerce store.

In May, we completed a review with proven brand / DTC growth consultancy The Growth Foundation to help guide our growth, with particular attention on building the right team to deliver our ambitious plans for continued, profitable growth over the coming years. This career-defining role, along with a handful of roles across the business joining our collective now, will help us achieve our objectives.

About the Role

Reporting to our Head of Department,, as the Organic Social Manager you will be social media-obsessed with your finger closely on the pulse of the street / fashion social space and emerging digital trends. You will lead the development and execution of the social media strategy to drive brand awareness, visibility and credibility within the industry whilst educating and exciting our community.

You’ll be comfortable with being a disruptor and are not afraid to be brave and push the boundaries! You will be focused on brand awareness, follower growth, and engagement, building communities and creating hype on our social channels whilst keeping up to date with the current trends. You will be a key player in driving forward our new brand mission to customers. We’re looking for someone who thrives from working under pressure, a forward-thinker, team player and all-round communicator. You will be full of ideas and be able to develop creative solutions to key business challenges. You will also be a part of relevant cultural conversations, react first to social trends and utilise social listening to understand more about our audience.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategic Support:

  • Support founders to codify and continuously improve our strategy to deliver our goals and targets for the next three years.

Tactical Execution:

  • Develop and deliver the brands’ social media strategy and tactics; working closely with the Founders & senior brand team to set KPIs relevant to each channel against brand and commercial objectives, such as increasing following and engagement metrics
  • Conceptualise and implement groundbreaking, cut-through ideas for social-first campaigns that deeply resonate with our community.
  • Take full responsibility for managing all posts and channels, managing the community online to build a strong & loyal following
  • Analyses trends in customer interactions, developments in social media, digital technologies and competition to plan our campaigns and achieve the maximum ROI
  • Champion the social agenda through a deep understanding of the social media landscape and experience managing social media comms for like-minded brands
  • Support the wider team on delivering against Brand goals, including supporting cross-functional projects outside of the immediate remit
  • Manage the social media schedule including posts, stories, live content
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for senior leadership, with clear actionable takeaways or recommendations for growth
  • Effectively brief the creative content team to ensure they execute the strategy to the highest level
  • Build clear timelines and schedules that ensure channel requirements and deadlines are achieved
  • Ideate and execute impactful social media activations that engage with the community from ground-level guerilla marketing to giveaways and exclusive offers
  • Manage and approve all social media copy ensuring this is in line with the tone-of-voice and social strategy, and engages our community
  • Manage, develop and inspire your team - sharing knowledge, tools and best practices and helping the team achieve their best work independently and collectively
  • Work closely with the Customer Experience Manager / team to monitor feedback across our social channels, and advise on the best response in the brand's TOV
  • Excellent communication skills able to collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, creative, studio, buying, merchandising and eCommerce.

About You

You’ll have an entrepreneurial mindset and a growth-oriented attitude. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate the fast-paced and constantly evolving nature of our direct to consumer, e-commerce business. You must be willing to take calculated risks and have a bias for action, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the business. You must be a strategic thinker, with the ability to balance short-term tactics and objectives with long-term vision and goals.

Additionally, you must be customer-focused and have a deep understanding of our target audience. You must be passionate about fashion and have your finger on the pulse of social media building techniques, process and fashion trends and styles. You must be creative and innovative, with the ability to anticipate and respond to changing consumer / customer needs and preferences, before they happen.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • 3-5 Years, experience of developing and delivering strategies focused on brand awareness, follower growth, and engagement, building communities, and creating hype in social channels;
  • Experience across all relevant social channels,
  • Experience in social media role at a fast-paced company, start-up or agency environment;
  • Social media experience within premium / luxury brands;
  • Ability to work at both a strategic and operational level;
  • Experience in managing and coaching team members
  • Experience with analytics and social listening tools, such as Google Analytics, Branch, Dash Hudson, Social Bakers
  • Deep understanding of the social media landscape, various platforms and trends within the industry
  • Strong project and campaign management skills with an analytical approach to key metrics
  • Creative thinker who is passionate about developing new and engage social ideas
  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to develop strong working relationships with key business departments and 3rd party brands
  • Flexible and enjoy working in a high pace, fast moving and changing environment
  • Due to the nature of the role you will need to be comfortable with occasionally working irregular hours when required
