Lead Software Engineer - Frontend

The WorkWave team is looking for skilled Software Engineers to build a team that will lead the frontend development efforts of the RouteManager product. RouteManager is the routing solution developed by WorkWave. Our teams are a mix of technologists, product managers, development engineers, and UI/UX designers, all working together to deliver our vision. You will be a part of our WorkWave team, helping to develop & support the WorkWave products.

Responsibilities

• Develop features & services to support the field service industry
• Investigate and resolve defects, and refactor code to maintain quality
• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Maintain high-quality software through unit test automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Proficiency in React development
• Expertise in React state management, including Redux, Redux Saga, XState, or Valtio
• Experience in utilizing Web Workers for efficient web application performance
• Familiarity with Interactive Maps libraries such as Leaflet, OpenLayers, or MapBox
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes and tools such as Jira
• Solid grasp of software engineering best practices
• Strong ability to write optimized and performant frontend code
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• In-depth understanding of JavaScript's internal mechanisms
