QA Analyst

Our client is seeking a QA Analyst based in Malta to oversee the release of new features across their portfolio of Online Casino Brands. This role involves close collaboration with development teams and Product Owners to ensure the highest quality standards are met during the release process, signing off new features based on defined acceptance criteria. The QA Analyst will work with high-performing engineering teams from each product area, responsible for identifying and reporting bugs across various product areas. A keen eye for detail and a passion for Casino and Sportsbook will be essential in driving excellence on the in-house platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and design documents for completeness and testability.
• Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Define and perform acceptance tests on new features.
• Conduct manual tests of new functionality and release builds.
• Perform exploratory testing of new features across a wide range of supported devices/browsers related to the primary Delivery Channels (Desktop/Mobile).
• Conduct post-release functional and user acceptance testing.
• Work closely with Engineers to investigate issues found during testing.
• Capture test results, test metrics, and report them.
• Collaborate with Automation Testers to ensure proper test coverage for the release cycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in QA testing for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Experience in the Online Gambling industry.
• Proficiency in Functional testing, User Acceptance Testing, Integration testing, System testing, Sanity testing, and Backend testing.
• Ability to adapt and a willingness to learn new technologies or techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is considered an asset.
• Experience with or knowledge of automation testing is beneficial.
