About the Team

Join the Delivery Operations team at Workday, where we ensure the success of our customer’s deployments by supporting Workday’s global services ecosystem. We manage a number of different programs including field enablement, Smartsheet governance and development, the Launch Reservation Process and Workday’s Delivery Review and Assessment (DRA) methodology and Accounts Payable audits.

About the Role

The Sr. Associate Delivery Operations Analyst's main focus will be to audit subcontracted services partners contractual agreements. This work is essential to ensure that invoices and payments are accurate, therefore reducing or eliminating downstream rework. In addition, this person will be assigned to the Launch Reservation Process and to the Delivery Review and Assessment (DRA) process on a rotational basis.

Our new colleague will work on several activities, including:

Accounts Payable Audits

  • Review services partner hourly rates in our Professional Services Automation system (PSA)
  • Review the contractual agreement governing those rates in Salesforce
  • Compare the hourly rates against the agreement and identify any discrepancies
  • Collaborate with the Resource Management team on the root case and correction of the rates.
  • Work with the PSA Operations team to accurate time blocks already submitted and stamped with incorrect rates.
  • Notify the Accounts Payable team if incorrect rates resulted in vendor invoices and payments being processed without prior detection.
  • Generate purchase orders for fixed fee agreements.
  • Recommend and implement improvements.

Launch Reservation Process Rotations

  • Act as the main point of contact for the Launch Reservation Process.
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Services organizations to ensure reservations are accounted for and properly processed.
  • Maintain and support reports and dashboards for all reservations.
  • Continually evaluate the process, reports, and dashboards for opportunities to optimize and automate.

Delivery Review and Assessment Rotations

  • Review Checkpoints as part of the DRA process for various Workday Product Areas. This involves reviewing content to ensure completeness and accuracy to enable the project to proceed and ultimately ensure the success of our deployments
  • Support the Global Professional Services Organization with all incoming inquiries regarding the Delivery Review and Assessment Program and reviews
  • Find opportunities for business process improvements and make recommendations as appropriate

Please note: this role will work in Pune normal business hours except for 2 days each week when you will work until 20:00 to meet with North America workmates via teleconferencing.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Passion for internal and external customer service and excellence driving high. quality in the finished product; attention to detail is critical to success.
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in analyzing data, reports and dashboards and a willingness to “dive into” systems and formulate new insights on how to better support our internal and external customers.
  • 1 - 2 Years' experience in spreadsheet programs (ex. Excel, Google Sheets, Smartsheet). Expertise in Excel VBA a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and to work effectively with multi-disciplined teams using a combination of business and technical skills.

Other Qualifications

  • Accomplished in process improvement, defining technical requirements, project administration, and operations.

  • Excellent organization, time management, presentation, process documentation, problem solving, and communication skills.

  • Proficient in Google Suite or Microsoft Office products.
