Simulation Engineer Electrical

we are looking for Simulation Engineer Electrical, Electrical Infrastructure 🔹

Electrical Infrastructure offers the possibility to work with a mixture of electrical distribution systems (EDS), electrical system design, and electrical attribute areas for all vehicle lines. There is also the opportunity to learn the agile way of working, adapting the full SAFe configuration into HW products.

Now recruiting a Simulation Engineer Electrical for the CAE & Simulation team, which is a shared service team supporting development teams within Electrical Infrastructure, as well as external teams across R&D.

✔️What will you do?

You will work in a cross-functional agile team with electrical and mechanical simulation engineers, as well as with engineers from our Electrical Design and Electrical Distribution Systems teams.

You will perform signal and power simulations for electrical systems, develop models and methods, and also teach and coach developers from other teams within Electrical Infrastructure.

✔️Do you fit the profile?

To be successful in this position you need to have an engineering degree within electronics, electrical or similar. You also need to have good experience from the following areas:

• Writing and reading component-, wire-, and system diagrams.
• Calculations for electrical components on Signal and Power system level.
• Power engineering.
• Circuit simulation.
• 12V systems.

Experience of the following CAE tools is an advantage:

• Siemens Capital tool
• Saber ESD
• Saber RD
• Spice
• Matlab Simulink/Simscape/Simplorer
