HPE is hiring a Senior Program Manager to efficiently support and own various projects aligned at times to successful end to end management of new offer introductions, quality UI/UX for transacting as-a-service offerings, global offer deployment, etc. while ensuring all decisions are made with a customer first mindset. The roles requires leading and partnering with cross-functional teams to provide end to end operational readiness program management and transparency using tools and dashboards. The individual must know how to prepare comprehensive implementation tactics, including execution plans, resource allocation plans, follow-up guidelines, assessment, and process accountabilities with stakeholder alignment. While the individual will develop data-driven analyses for optimization and continuous improvement, it will require setting clear measurement metrics, evaluating actual performance, and ensuring clear and concise recommendations are provided to business leaders on performance target achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of program management, with a particular focus on as-a-service solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of program delivery.
  • Make informed and strategic decisions that align with the organization's goals and drive measurable results as a service-oriented business.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development/management, marketing, sales, legal, finance, pricing, engineers, IT, etc. to ensure seamless execution and delivery of programs.
  • Take ownership of program outcomes ensuring that deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle, with a keen awareness of the unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate program status, updates, and risks to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, fostering transparency and alignment.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the program team, implementing best practices and lessons learned to enhance future program/product execution.

Education and Experience Required:

Typically 10+ years total experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree required (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of research methodology for the most challenging business issues.
  • Knowledge, experience and comfort with leading change and organizational change across a broad set of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Principles, methodologies, and techniques for Project & Product Lifecycle Management.
  • Certifications are a plus and should highlight if any such as Certified Scrum Master, Black Belt, etc..
  • Significant experience leading process design/improvement projects.
  • Experience in the development of process documentation for as-a-service (AAS) offerings. Development and delivery of process training.
  • Knowledge of principles and best practices of General Lean Product Development principles and practices, Agile Software, and as-a-service/Dev/Ops lifecycle from customer needs identification through operation.
  • Experience in application to programs and application to process design/improvement.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
  • Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches and insights.
  • Extensive knowledge of how to analyze business problems using Excel, Access, statistical analysis, etc..
  • Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
  • Ability to lead multiple, large, time sensitive projects or work streams.
  • Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data, and make clear and compelling business planning recommendations.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below.
