Senior Financing Middle Officer

The Middle Officer manages a portfolio of financing operations in which Natixis is a lender, from their closing (implementation) to their final repayment by the borrower.

The main duty of the team is to ensure that, all along its lifecycle, each financing operation complies with the terms of Natixis credit decision and that the legal documentation (financing contract) is properly executed by both Natixis and the borrower.

Main tasks and goals:

A Middle Officer main tasks are, for the portfolio of financing operations (all business lines: Corporate, Commodities, Infra, Real Estate…):

• Analyzing and preparing the new financing operations in cooperation with the Front Office, Legal Department and the Back Office;
• Monitoring the borrower’s obligations as per the legal documentation (KYC, guarantees, covenants…);
• Managing the events that may occur during the lifecycle of the financing operation (drawdowns, renewals, waivers, amendments, prepayments/repayments, restructuring…) in cooperation with the Back Office and Front Office;
• Producing and checking reports in relation with the managed operations.

Requirements

• Master in Finance, Economics, Management or Law;
• Financing Operations (preferred);
• Banking environment (1-3 years);
• Middle Office Financing (1-3 years);
• Microsoft 365 (advanced Knowledge);
• Legal (preferred);
• Financings (preferred);
• Risk (notions);
• Fluent English (mandatory), French and Italian are a plus.

• Taking ownership and being accountable for the area of responsibility;
• Good communication skills, as well as the ability to interact confidently with all levels of stakeholders.
