We’re powered by purpose

Mable is an online platform connecting Australians looking for disability and aged care support to independent support workers. Since 2014, we’ve been helping our community live their kind of independence, and today we’re one of Australia's largest and fastest growing healthtech platforms.

We have been recognised in AFR’s Fast 100 list, Deloitte’s Tech Fast 50, and won the Australian Growth & Australian Technology Growth Company of the Year Award in 2020! So don’t miss your opportunity to join a thriving scale-up and deliver change to Australia’s care and support sector.

As a Design Manager you'll build a clear and coherent design vision and strategy focussed on customer and business outcomes. You'll work closely with cross functional leaders to bring knowledge of customer needs, behaviours and possible design solutions into decision making.

You will use your creativity and understanding of customer insights to create compelling and pragmatic visions for the customer experience, which create alignment and drive customer and business outcomes.

You will play a key role in leading a team of designers to work with their cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of products for our customers and platform.

  • Providing clear focus and direction and ensuring that the team’s ways of working are aligned with delivering great experiences and outcomes and the team’s workload is sustainable.
  • Provide guidance, feedback and quality control on product design research and execution.

Process, practice and toolkit

  • Elevate the CX team’s design process, practice and toolkit
  • Support and administration of some of the CX team’s design tools, rituals and events.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with stakeholders, empathise directly with our customers and drive consensus cross-functionally.

  • Ideally having experience from health, wellbeing and/or aged care sectors; highlight a maturity in understanding the diversity of needs across our platform

  • Ability to own and influence solutions from scratch and/or improve existing features, all with a user-centred design process.

  • Comfortable in an environment where product solutions are challenged equally by engineering, data, product, UX and discussed with the goal of developing best outcome for the end user
