As a Product Manager you set the product vision, define use cases, analyze customer needs and financial implications, and ultimately choose the most promising path for success. You will work directly with design, research, engineering, analytics to collect input, mold requirements, and validate features. You drive prioritization for your area, communicate with internal stakeholders, conduct user testing with customers, and work on the go to market plan with product marketing. You will also be responsible for driving product adoption and improving the customer experience through your products while aligning with the bigger OLX goals.

About the role

In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to revolutionize our development environment by implementing the latest tech trends and leveraging our internal AI systems to optimize the developer experience. You'll ensure our CI/CD pipelines are efficient and reliable, speeding up the release process and minimizing downtime. Keeping our site running smoothly is key, so you'll focus on optimizing performance and enhancing the user experience. As a Product Manager, you'll create a clear and inspiring vision for the Frontend Platform team, working closely with other teams to understand their needs and challenges. You'll lead and support your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. What you will do

• Strategic Planning: Develop and articulate a clear vision for the Frontend Platform team that aligns with the company’s objectives. Plan and prioritize initiatives that will have the highest impact on improving developer productivity and site performance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other product teams, engineering managers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges. Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure the Frontend Platform enhances overall productivity and meets the needs of various teams.
• Leadership and Guidance: Lead the Frontend Platform team by setting clear goals and expectations. Mentor and support team members in achieving these goals through regular feedback and professional development opportunities.
• Innovation and Improvement: Lead the efforts of seeking out the latest technologies and methodologies that can improve the Frontend Platform. Evaluate and advocate for the adoption of new tools or practices that can benefit the company.
• Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for both the platform and the team. Use these metrics to guide decision-making and improvements, ensuring that the team’s efforts contribute positively to the company’s goals.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the platform’s operations and work proactively to mitigate them. Lead the efforts to ensure that the platform remains stable and reliable, even as changes and updates are implemented.

What we are looking for

• Proven track record in product management, ideally at a high-traffic consumer Internet or e-commerce company. You have a minimum of 3 years of experience building great customer-focused products.
• Experience in data driven product development and applying A/B testing, user research, conversion optimisation, user testing, data analysis, competitor and market analysis in your decision making. Able to extract insights and define a roadmap focused on solving crucial customer needsAble to take end to end responsibility for their product. Is able to work independently with support and guidance from the Head of Product.
• Curiosity and to dig into the why, what & how
• A problem solver that is not afraid of taking on big challenges and breaking them into products that bring value to customers and OLX.
• Collaboration and building consensus in and outside of the team, in the spirit of teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in English
