As the Head of Market Access, reporting into the GM for Sweden, you will maximise value for GSK by achieving and maintaining, timely, optimal access and pricing for GSK innovation and portfolio. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop the strategy for new product launches as a member of the Swedish Leadership Team.

In this role you will…

• Develop, communicate, and implement market access strategy to obtain and maintain optimal access and pricing outcomes for GSK products (incl. pricing & reimbursement dossiers, negotiations with authorities)
• Lead a team of Market Access professionals and manage contractors and 3rd parties to get additional support for the access plan as required
• Build productive relationships with key external stakeholders and authorities and lead strategic discussions and negotiations
• Develop team capability to meet current and future needs of GSK (business acumen, strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills)
• Partner with commercial and medical leadership, and above-market stakeholders to deliver strategic access priorities, and foster a culture of innovation, customer-focus, personal accountability, business acumen and a commitment to success
• Be a member of Swedish Leadership Team

Why you?

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject (e.g. Science, pharmacy, medicine, economics or political science) or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry within a commercial/financial/market access or external affairs position
• Fluent in Swedish and English, speaking and writing

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in relevant subject
• Proven track record of strategic thinking with great analytical skills, strong business acumen and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven people management experience
• Ability to engage and develop people
