We are seeking to hire a dedicated, organized, and efficient “Business Development and Sales Manger for Conference Systems” to join our team in this role, you will work closely to coordinate and complete position tasks as follow:

• Actively manage existing customer structure for Conference systems and develop new customers
• Ensure sales targets by increasing share of wallet with existing customers and in existing business, identifying additional business opportunities or developing potential new ones in SAN region (North Africa & Nigeria /Ghana)
• Conduct regular customer visits and establish close relationship with customers in SAN
• Negotiate terms and conditions within authorization scheme for accounts in SAN
• Execute basic design & quotation on projects
• Build-up and organize sales and business development activities in SAN
• Develop, implement and follow-up on business development approach for key verticals
• Generate, follow-up and win project leads in SAN
• Actively get involved in tender specification of large projects, drive specification of Building Technologies, and convert these tenders into leads
• Present, discuss, adjust and follow-up on technical and commercial solutions with the end-user and all relevant parties
• Ensure and achieve with large end-users that Building Technologies is the preferred supplier and that Building Technologies products are specified as preferred solution
• Focus on specific local vertical(s), might include several sub-verticals
• Actively work with key influencers and end-users and act as Key Influencer Manager for defined local influencers
• Develop, implement and follow-up on influencer development plan for defined local key influencers
• Identify, visit regularly and win the main decision makers within a vertical or within key influencer organization
• Provide feedback on product and other requirements to Business unit Communications
• Provide feedback on market sizes and trends, customer/end-user needs and support collection of competitor information
• Insert customer related data such as account information, activities, opportunities regularly into the Customer Relationship management software and make use of available CRM data and reports to follow-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineer.
• 5 years of industry experience, preferably with a manufacturer, is required.
• Industry affiliations and certification a plus.
• The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, solid industry and product specific knowledge, plus the ability to successfully generate business and sales.
