System Design Engineer

We are looking for a System Design Engineer with broad knowledge of vehicle systems that can lead the SW and Electrical System Integration of our electrical base vehicle, ensuring that the interface between the autonomous driving system and the base vehicle is according to requirements.

At Einride everyone is responsible for their work end to end, from development to production. You will help us improve developer happiness, our fearless development culture and acquire a deep understanding of your domain.

What you’ll do

• Lead the work with defining the interfaces between our autonomous driving system and the base vehicle
• Lead and/or contribute in system design, software requirements and verifications for our base vehicle
• Lead roadmap work and concept design
• Support the Software developers in our Vehicle Controls and Actuation team by being the interface between them and suppliers
• Contribute in supplier evaluation and nomination for key subsystems such as Battery, steering, braking and propulsion systems

What we’re looking for

• Be either a strong technical project manager who likes to contribute in system engineering OR a System Engineer with strong ability to communicate to stakeholders
• Have at least 5 years experience within System or SW development
• Be interested in growing technical competence within electrical vehicle engineering
• Communicate well in english
• M.sc in relevant field (e.g. computer science, embedded systems, vehicle engineering, electrical engineering or similar)
