You will be entrusted with the important task of sourcing high-quality materials and negotiating favourable terms with suppliers so that our production lines can run smoothly and efficiently. With your eye for detail and strategic thinking, you will ensure cost-saving initiatives, optimise inventory levels and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

• Manage procurement processes for feedstock; by which we mean the feed for our insects, and other essential materials.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Monitoring market trends and identifying new suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfil procurement needs.
• Contribute to cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Affinity with the by-product market and food waste is a plus but not a requirement.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar procurement role.
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
• Proactive, solution-oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Interest in sustainable and innovative solutions within the food industry.

• After 5 years, you may go on sabbatical for 6 weeks. We will pay half of your time out!
• A kilometre allowance of €0.23 per km
