Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Zscaler Digital Experience team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• You will design backend services that scales horizontally with security in mind for public cloud applications (SaaS)
• You will design, writing beautiful code and quickly building prototypes.

Job Location - Bangalore

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Must have 4 years of experience developing backend services in distributed and cloud environments using Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with data structures and object-oriented design principles. Experience designing RESTful services and APIs using frameworks such as Jersey or Spring.
• Experience scaling backend services using Redis caching technology and designing backend messaging infrastructure using frameworks like Kafka.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelor's in computer science or related field of study.
• Experience services deployed in cloud-computing environments, Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins Pipeline, or Spinnaker).
