Senior Backend Developer

Salary: P160,000 to P200,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Java experience required
• Experience with Grails/Groovy would be a big plus as we will be primarily developing in the Grails framework
• Experience with MySQL
• Experience with Restful APIs and API gateways

Nice to Have:

• Experience with containerization and implementing scalable systems
• Working within an agile process with regular sprint cycles and multiple stakeholders
• Experience with CI/CD (e.g Jenkins)
• Experience writing unit tests

What will you do?

• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
• Taking lead on projects, as needed.
