About the Team

Our Tech team are true heroes. They’ve taken our legacy success and transformed it into an extraordinary SaaS platform to support SME and Enterprise businesses in ways they never knew they needed. By joining the Tech team, you’ll be an integral part of building our all-in-one business management platform.

The role

You will join a passionate engineering team operating our core business management systems used by our many small to medium enterprise clients throughout Australia and New Zealand, a team who are driving improvements through teamwork, documentation and automation.

As part of the team, you will strive to achieve operational excellence and aim to empower other teams to improve stability, performance and security in their work. We are passionate about making a difference to both clients and developers through communication and increased autonomy.

What you will do

- Extend and evolve the platform to adapt to customer needs whilst maintaining an exceptional level of stability and reliability.

- Ensure our systems are operating efficiently, by engaging in operational improvements, maintenance and access management.

- Work closely with development teams across the company to understand problems, evaluate patterns and best practices and find opportunities for the team to contribute

- Embrace Lean principles and work as a part of an Agile team - utilising sprints, epics, experiments, and iterating based on feedback.

- Drive adoption of our services and tooling through workshops, training and consultation.

- Seek opportunities to automate our own services and processes, reducing operational toil in a multi-cloud platform environment

What we'd love you to bring

- Strong skills in Azure Cloud, including Infrastructure as Code technologies and processes.

- Experience with conducting operational improvements in sophisticated multi-cloud environments

- Confident in software development. We use predominantly PowerShell, SQL and C#, and will happily support you to learn these.

- Commitment to improving and maintaining security practices.

- Experience using a modern CI/CD tooling suite, with knowledge of continuous integration / continuous deployment concepts.
