Your new role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Scientist with expertise in data modeling and dashboard creation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, an in-depth understanding of data analysis techniques and visualization, and the ability to apply causal inference effectively. The Data Scientist will be challenged with tasks such as collecting, processing, and analyzing data, creating meaningful reports, building and maintaining machine learning models, and contributing to developing analytics engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analytics Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain data models using tools such as SQL and dbt and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality throughout the data lifecycle;
2. Data Visualization: Create visually appealing and informative charts, graphs, and reports to communicate data-driven insights effectively;
3. Data Analysis: Perform statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data mining to uncover trends, patterns, and insights;
4. Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for various departments and stakeholders.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support, including analytics engineering solutions.
6. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on data analysis and analytics engineering best practices and contribute to enhancing our data analytics processes.

Requirements

Requirements:

• MSc degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, or related field;
• 4+ years of working experience;
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with a focus on analytics engineering;
• Proficiency with data transformation tools such as dbt;
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, namely SQL;
• Proficiency in data visualization tools, preferably Tableau;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings and insights.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Able to carry out ad-hoc analysis in Python and Jupyter Notebook;
• Knowledge of version control system (git);

Qualifications (nice to have):

• Working experience within the FinTech industry;
• Familiar with Conversion Funnel Optimization;
• Familiar with AWS infrastructure.
