Job Description:

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Asia business finance leader for P&F business, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading the forecasting process (Operating plan, rolling forecast, best estimate) within Asia area, consolidation and automatization of the process
• Lead the financials for strategic plan process for Asia
• Be a trusted finance business partner to unlock the area for growth and improve profitability of the business in this area
• Manage the area's financial performance and support delivering the targets in the Annual Operating Plan for all lines of P&L and working capital metrics
• Provides financial advice and guidance to business units in the area and management on appropriate aspects of projects
• Preparing accurate financial packages for presentation to various executive management committees
• Assuring full compliance with U.S. GAAP and 3M Global Financial Standards
• Supports all financial decision making and transversal processes like SIP, pricing, CIP for the asia
• Understanding local requirements and translating issues into problem solving
• Provide local Reporting
• Collaborate with global P&F FPA

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 5 years of finance or finance related experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• High School Diploma/GED from AND (8) years of finance or finance related experience in a private, public, government or military environment

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• (2) years of prior finance experience in an Industrial, Biopharma, Medtech, or manufacturing company in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• MBA or master’s degree in finance/ accounting (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Proven ability to use analytics and influencing skills to drive results
• Exhibited sense of urgency to drive effective change and manage performance
• Familiarity with portfolio and product level margin analysis
• Systems knowledge(advanced excel, longview, hyperion, power bi tools)
• Financial acumen and empowerment to make decisions
• Other Language

Work location: Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei, HongKong, Australia

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
