We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance for our Germany
operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities,
ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and driving the financial
strategy to support the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.

  • Oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team to drive business performance.

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and international

  • accounting standards.

  • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable,

  • payroll, and general ledger.

  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

  • Optimize cash flow management and working capital.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices.
  • Develop and maintain business continuity plans.

Business Partnering:

  • Act as a key business partner to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive cost-efficiency initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a senior
  • management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations in Germany.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Subscription business experience mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (Workday); advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.
