Head of Department

• Development of Bosch ME strategy for China, incl. definition of target markets, product roadmaps and identification of future growth markets
• Partnering: Development of strategic cooperations of Bosch ME in China incl. technical and strategic assessment of cooperation partners capabilities
• Sales Enablement: Support the sales team with strategic insights, competitive intelligence, and value propositions to enhance their effectiveness in winning new business
• Product Strategy: Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to align product development with market demands and customer requirements
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Reporting: Direct report to the Regional President of ME in China and Bosch Mobility Sector Board Member for Operations

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, strategy, or related roles within the automotive electronics industry, with a focus on semiconductor technologies such as SiC, MEMS, and ASIC
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the automotive electronics market, particularly ECU, SiC, MEMS, and ASIC technologies
• Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet or exceed their expectations
• Organizational Skills: Excellent project management and organizational skills as well as the ability to work independently and effectively in an international team environment; High level of creativity and strategic thinking
• Collaboration: Proven capability to collaborate and influence others to build relationships and networks across different functions and department areas
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with peers through regular reporting, publication, and presentations (excellent oral and written and listening in Chinese and English is required)
• Travel: Willingness to travel to guarantee successful adoption of your projects into the product development chain or business processes
• M.S. or PhD in (Micro)Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science or Business (given technical work experience)
