What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a highly talented and experienced Creative Director to join our Brand Strategy team. This role will report to the Senior Director of Brand Management. You’ll lead a small cross-functional team of video, copywriting, and organic social media professionals. You’ll partner closely with survey research and content marketing and multiple stakeholder groups inside and outside of marketing. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional storytelling and creative abilities that proactively align with business results. They must also possess strong leadership skills, and we strongly prefer candidates with some design and animation background.
What you’ll be working on
- Lead the development and execution of creative strategies that align with the brand's overall objectives and messaging.
- Oversee the creation of engaging and high-performance video content, including concept development, scriptwriting, storyboarding, and production.
- Direct and guide our senior copywriter in crafting impactful copy for marketing materials, including website content, advertising campaigns, emails, and more.
- Manage the organic social media strategy, including content planning, publishing, community engagement, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of creative initiatives across all channels.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in creative storytelling and integrate them into our creative strategies and executions.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of creative initiatives, leveraging data and insights to optimize future campaigns and drive continuous improvement.
We’d love to hear from people with
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and ad campaigns
- Strong storytelling abilities and passion for creating compelling narratives that resonate with audiences.
- Experience overseeing video production, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, and editing.
- Proficiency in organic social media strategy and content creation, with a deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- A background in design is preferred, as is a basic understanding of design principles and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
