ETL Informatica Developer

Job Description

Senior Developer with 3+ years hands-on experience on

• ETL tool – Informatica having good experience on developing and implementing solutions pertaining to data load and mappings from source systems. Responsible to create and maintain data quality.
• Knowledge on writing SQL queries, materialized views; Oracle and Sybase Database.
• Experience in Finance Industry specifically on Trading Solutions is preferable.
• Experience on Tableau is an advantage
• He/she should be flexible to work in both Support and Development projects.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to have following expertise

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on coding experience in Informatica, Oracle and Sybase database
• Hands-on experience with SQL programming and schema design
• Support daily operations, production support
• Ability to understand and translate requirements to scalable design
• Quick Troubleshooting and log analysis skills
• Good Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Ability to understand and debug application code quickly
• Follow coding standards and best practices for development
• Ability to collaborate with other teams/vendors for integration, end and end testing and issue analysis
• Ability to articulate self & team status, issues and risks clearly and concisely
• Flexibility to learn new technologies and Finance skills as per project needs

Minimum Job Specifications

• 3-6 years of IT experience in ETL tool Informatica, Datawarehouse, database experience in Oracle/Sybase along with Tableau experience
• Experience working in the development and support of large applications preferably finance applications
• Working experience in all the phases of the project
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required to liaise with the business, developers, QA, and operations
• Strong analytic, debugging, problem solving and collaborative skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
• Positive attitude, real passion for strong work ethics.

Technical Skills

• Excellent in Informatica & Oracle and Sybase database
• Experience in Continuous Integration development and products like Jira, bitbucket, Jenkins
• Experience on Tableau is preferable
• Hands-on experience with Unix programming
• Experience with any Job scheduling and monitoring software like Autosys is preferable
