The Opportunity

We're seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in shaping the future of SMEVentures and our portfolio companies. The Role

You will be responsible for identifying and attracting key talent for SMEVentures and our portfolio companies in Australia and New Zealand. This means actively seeking out top performers and scouring online platforms to identify exceptional individuals across industries and seniority levels. You will be an advocate for SMEVentures and the small businesses we work with, fostering relationships with potential candidates and showcasing the exciting career opportunities we offer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive research to identify and connect with potential candidates across various platforms.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract candidates who are not actively seeking new opportunities.
  • Review resumes, cover letters, and online profiles to assess a candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • Build strong relationships with potential candidates through clear and professional communication.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, skill requirements, and talent pools for small business executives.

Requirements

  • Native-level English proficiency, with impeccable communication skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition.
  • Experience with end to end recruiting, preferable at a smaller organization.
  • Track record of successful recruitment for senior management level roles.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with the topgrading recruitment process is a big plus.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting in Australia and/or New Zealand is a big plus.
