The Sports Management team are looking for an Account Executive to support the Football team with a range of workflows e.g. account management, new business projects.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Liaise with multiple areas of the business on a day-to-day basis to support the Football media function, including Finance; Legal; Creative; Strategy; Sponsorship; Production; Technical Services; Analytics; Streaming; Digital; and others.
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of football accounts.
  • Conduct research for new business opportunities and renewals.
  • Support on the creation of projection documents and business models for business development opportunities and renewals.
  • Provide support on football media acquisition processes and responses to tender.
  • Attend meetings and create detailed notes to summarise and distribute internally and externally.
  • Assist in creation of key client presentations and documentation.
  • Create sales materials and market reports to support the sales process for the Commercial team.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure key objectives are met.
  • Learn and train users on the internal systems and tools.
  • Attend events to support with a multitude of tasks.
  • Complete the internal administration required to process new rights acquisitions and renewals.
  • Other duties that are within the scope of the role may be required.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Some experience in media rights acquisitions and project management
  • Knowledge of the media industry
  • Knowledge of the global football landscape
  • Ability to learn and closely follow business practices, resources and personnel within IMG Media
  • Experience or a strong interest within sports media industry is desirable

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build long lasting working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to self-direct and motivate and work with minimal supervision.
  • A strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise. Priorities will often change to dictate focus of work – the candidate must have the ability to handle competing demands and last-minute changes effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Numerate and analytical with the ability to understand and interpret data.
  • Committed to client service excellence and fostering quality business relationships.
  • A passion about football, sports, news and media would be desirable but not essential

Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent position.
  • This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
  • Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
  • May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
  • Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule
