About the Role:

The Ocean Product organization at Maersk is dedicated to building world-class technology solutions to manage our network execution, ensuring consistent delivery on customer promises while optimizing our cost base. As a Functional Product Owner, you will spearhead the continuous improvement of Inland Flow and Equipment Fleet products and processes, driving their adoption and automation across the company through close engagement, communication, and collaboration with our users and stakeholders. This role is inherently cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with various business functions, product, and engineering teams within the company.

As a Product Owner you'll have the responsibility to drive design, standardization, performance management, and governance of processes in Equipment domain to bring about enterprise transformation. You'll bring an end-to-end perspective to equipment product development through discovery and scoping of cross functional dependencies and roadmap deliverables. You'll spearhead communication and engagement with global, regional, and country equipment teams for change management and sustainable implementation of equipment products and processes

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Growth: Create and define the growth strategy for Inland Flow and Fleet products within the Equipment Management space.
• Process Standardization and Optimization: Drive design, standardization, and automation of global and inter-dependent cross-functional processes in collaboration with business teams.
• Discovery and Scoping: Discover problems, opportunities, and scope cross-functional dependencies to build Inland Flow and Fleet product roadmaps.
• Roadmap Ownership: Drive product roadmap delivering business outcomes in collaboration with technology, data science, and business users.
• Communication and Change Management: Drive communication, change management, and sustained implementation of product and process enhancements globally.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage closely with global, regional, and country equipment teams for process and product adoption and improvement.
• Performance Management: Establish and track metrics and success criteria to ensure value realization for implemented changes.

• Product Management Experience: Proven experience with product management and transformation of global processes.
• Technological Interest: A natural interest in technology, standardization, automation, and optimization of processes.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide variety of business and technology stakeholders in a matrix org and drive alignment towards product strategy and business outcomes.
• Adaptability and Learning Agility: Ability to learn fast, grasp underlying business problems, and prioritize effectively.
• Analytical Skills: Strong Reasoning skills and intuition, using data and metrics to evaluate hypotheses and assumptions for decision-making.
