[What the role is]
As a support staff, your role is to support policies and schemes in specific functional areas.

[What you will be working on]

1. Maintain and upkeep training facilities; manage the department assets and consumables, including the inventory of chemicals.

2. Provide support for finance and procurement matters.

3. Responsible for the day-to-day operations and the upkeep of laboratories including equipment maintenance and the availability of consumables.

4. Procurement of essential material/ tools/ equipment for training.

5. Conduct quarterly workplace safety and health check of all the department training facilities and follow-up where necessary.

6. Provide technical support to teaching staff.

7. Undertake ad-hoc projects to improve work processes and/or enhance student learning.

[What we are looking for]

1. Engineering-related industry experience is preferred.

2. Meticulous in administrative matters, particularly in handling finance procurement documentation.

3. Possess good IT skills (Microsoft Office 365). Proficient in data analytics tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI will be an advantage.

4. Good knowledge of safety regulations such as SCDF, NEA and WSHA Regulations to ensure workplace compliance will be an advantage.

5. Meticulous in housekeeping.
