System Software Architect Lead

Role Summary:

The specific role here is for a System Software architect Lead experienced in SDV E/E architecture challenges, simulation tooling & OEM application customer journey who has been involved in the early definition E/E & SW architectural system engineering work ideally with an automotive OEM.

Job Responsibility:

· Supporting business users on application incidents/ changes requested on SW environment applications and infrastructure.

· Work closely with SW product management and SW engineering to scope, create, contribute, test & validate NXP software offering necessary for world-wide customers to design systems using NXP processors.

· Technical management of a software engineering team for POC, studies and product development.

· Engage with OEMs to define POC studies showing the benefits of NXP products and Solutions at System and Vehicle level.

· Work with tools vendors and SW partners to define Vehicle SW Platform solution enabling SDV Customer journey and seamless integration of our products.

· Create customer-ready production-grade systems (HW/SW/Tooling)

· Creating application notes, white papers, and user guide documentation

· Making technical presentation which showcase platform and technology features to customers & conferences

Job Qualification:

· Experience of system SW architecture definition and deployment.

· Knowledge and experience of tools used for SW architecture, Vehicle level feature behavioral model – understanding trade-offs for different hardware & software execution environments, and key performance metrics of the OEM at system/vehicle level.

· Strong track of record defining SW Architecture at Vehicle level on various runtime such as RTOS and HLOS

· 10 years+ experience in Architecture with 8 years+ in automotive market

· Hands-on knowledge with cybersecurity (ISO24434) and Safety (ISO26262) requirements, especially their impact at system level (HW/SW/Toolchain)

· History of engagement with automotive Tier1 and/or OEM

· Experience in software and system solutions that enable car architecture evolution

· Strong business and technical acumen, customer focus/ external orientation

· Excellent communication and influencing skills – written and verbal
