You will be joining a high-performance sales team in a business enjoying significant growth, a Global FTSE 100 and well renowned in the market.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion of our Fraud and Identity Solutions Portfolio in the CIS region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, with a focus on the Banking, Fintech, and Corporate sectors. Your mission is to cultivate the CIS market (focus on new business) by implementing a strategic approach to sales and efficiently coordinating LexisNexis Risk Solutions subject-matter experts. Some travel may be required to support customers and attend industry events.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Cycle Management (focus on new business): managing the entire sales cycle, from pre-sales activities through to the contract signature, ensuring the successful closure of complex deals.
  • Identifying target segments and creating tailored sales strategies to address specific regional challenges and opportunities.
  • Understanding your customers’ goals and objectives, business requirements and strategic goals, and advising them on how LNRS can help.
  • Conducting market research to understand regional trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Working closely with LNRS SMEs, facilitating regular communication and collaboration among stakeholders to align goals and share insights.
  • Putting the customer first providing timely response and exceptional levels of service to all enquiries.
  • Prioritizing face to face engagement.
  • Driving market initiatives, supporting the market planning, marketing and product development teams in order to maximize new business opportunities within the geographic/industry sector markets.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Fluent English, Russian is a must, other regional languages will be a bonus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the Banking, Fintech, or Corporate sectors.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Regional experience (Central Asia, Caucasus region) will be a big plus.
  • Experience in closing complex software deals valued in the six-figure range.
  • Excellent sales, communication, networking, and negotiation skills. Certification in MEDDICC or other Sales methodologies is an added advantage.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
