Position Summary

Sr. Analysts, Business Systems to analyze data flow, business, and other data processing problems to implement, sustain, and improve cost effective computer software systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems; review capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations; and recommend new solutions. Assesses impacts, gaps, and cost/benefit analysis for existing and future system and product/service-related initiatives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
  • Research and resolve system, setup, and configuration problems while following strict audit and compliance requirements to ensure accurate and timely data processing.
  • Apply experience developing complex queries across multiple servers, databases, and tables for the purpose of data consolidation, normalization, processing, validation, and reporting.
  • Elicit and evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, and distinguish the underlying true needs and solution ideas from the presented user requests.
  • Apply experience working with Microsoft server and data warehousing technologies, including SQL Server and Azure or Databricks.
  • Provide subject matter expert leadership and consulting support on complex systems, processes, and tasks to peers and partner teams, including providing assistance and guidance during User-Assisted Testing (UAT).
  • Apply experience sustaining and implementing solutions for deployed software systems thru collaboration with members of project management, business, and develop teams leveraging multiple system development lifecycle (SDLC) approaches, including Waterfall, DevOps, and Agile for the purpose of ensuring a relevant and useful system lifecycle for the end users.
  • Apply experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, to connect to external data sources, create reports, and run and build macros.
  • Make effective in-person and virtual presentations using WebEx, Skype, PowerPoint, and Visio to share business knowledge and system understanding with peers, small groups, management, and project stakeholders.
  • Manage own tasks, deliverables, schedule, and provide timely information to stakeholders and project management.

Minimum Functional and Technical Skills Requirements

Applicant’s experience must include:

Minimum Experience and Education Requirements

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master of Science in Computer Science or related field or equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience as Sr. Analysts, Business Systems; Analysts, Business Systems; and Programmer/Analysts.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must possess Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field or equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience as Sr. Analysts, Business Systems; Analysts, Business Systems; and Programmer/Analysts.

  • Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Salary: Pay: $112,455.00 to $126,500.00 per year

  • The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
  • At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
