Mission

System Administrator role is part of the INGs’ Tech Platform Services tribe, with responsibilities on managing large scale (national and international) Microsoft related products and services, supporting ING Bank applications’ data transfers by implementing and operating highly secure and resilient solutions.

The role is responsible on translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables ensuring scalability, reliability, compliance, and security considering full range of Tribes Applications thus supporting organization Cloud journey and Digital by default processes.

Your day to day

• Administration and operational support for Windows Server OS and Applications (Active Directory, Exchange, etc);
• Assure systems security by applying monthly security patches and solving OS security vulnerabilities.
• Perform capacity management, monitor resource usage, and respond proactively to alerts.
• Work with 1st and 2nd line support teams to solve issues related to infrastructure components and applications.
• Design frameworks and help colleagues implement automation tasks for different infrastructure processes.
• Perform firmware and software updates according to products lifecycle and to eliminate identified vulnerabilities.
• Ensure the security standard compliance by analysing reports related to servers and software components.
• Provide proactive and reactive support (Incident & Change Management).
• Contributing to the definition of new services.
• Participation in the design and improvement of workflows & processes within the area of responsibility.
• Assure solution availability by implementing and running backups policy and performing regular restore tests.
• Support business continuity processes by implementing resilience and availability patterns in your area of expertise.

What you bring to the team

• Windows OS server 2016-2022 suite.
• Solid knowledge on area such as DSC, SCCM, Active Directory, DNS, Windows Clustering, network protocols, Fiber channel, virtualization.
• Scripting experience leveraging PowerShell or other programming language.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools: Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Knowledge of enterprise backup solutions: Commvault, IBM Tivoli Storage Manager.
• SRE experience.
• Working in a DevOps environment.
• Will be considered a plus IT industry professional certifications such as MCSE.
• Office 365 Provisioning and Identity management (AAD connect, ADFS).
• Manage and protect with Microsoft Entra ID.
