Vasion is looking for a Federal Partner Development Manager (PDM) that exemplifies our core values and wants to be part of our growing team. The Federal PDM role aims to identify, establish, and nurture relationships with key federal channel account executives, focusing on growing the top-of-funnel, acquiring net new logos, and expanding within current customers. Federal PDMs are instrumental in driving early-stage engagement, educating partners about new products tailored for federal needs, and coordinating joint marketing efforts to generate demand. Their work accelerates sales cycles by ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, making them a critical component of the company’s growth strategy in the public sector.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with federal channel account executives to identify and engage potential partners.
  • Strategic Account Identification: Identify and prioritize federal accounts aligning with the company’s objectives and growth strategy.
  • Pipeline Development: Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of top-of-funnel opportunities through proactive outreach and engagement.
  • New Logo Acquisition: Focus on acquiring net new logos within the federal sector by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Partner Education: Educate channel partners about new products and solutions tailored for federal needs, ensuring they are well-informed and equipped to promote these offerings.
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at federal industry events, conferences, and channel partner training sessions.
  • Partner Enablement: Provide resources and support to channel partners, helping them navigate complex government procurement processes and meet compliance requirements.
  • Other: Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in SaaS-related B2B sales or a similar industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for meetings, conferences, and partner engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding of the federal market, including government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to and engage with senior-level executives.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales and marketing tools.
  • Results-driven mindset, with a passion for exceeding goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of complex sales processes.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Working knowledge of sales software, tools, and processes.
