This position will be on Peacock’s Advanced Analytics team with a charter to oversee Peacock and NBCU content performance. As Director, you will be a trusted source of content, platform, and audience intelligence while managing a team tasked with generating actionable insights, developing analytical frameworks, and building self-service data solutions for a broad range of NBCU and Peacock stakeholders. The ideal candidate will provide support to the wider Decision Sciences team with impactful content performance insights utilizing 1st and 3rd party data sets as well as marketplace intel to drive key business decisions. This director will have a tangible impact on Peacock’s continued growth and success as a major player in the global streaming landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Peacock’s content offering and audience to become a trusted thought leader for key stakeholders, including content development and strategy
  • Provide Peacock expertise for analyses on and understanding of cross-platform performance for NBCU's broadcast and cable offerings
  • Synthesize complex analyses, KPIs, and concepts into digestible presentations for a variety of audiences, including key business stakeholders
  • Manage the construction and maintenance of data products and dashboards/visualizations, unlocking self-service insight opportunities for NBCU
  • Oversee the communication of content performance to external partners when contractually required or to maintain business relationships
  • Collaborate with the consumer insights team to guide studies and develop holistic performance perspectives
  • Partner closely with key content deal-making stakeholders (e.g., Acquisitions, Originals, Finance, Programming, and Strategy) to build appropriate analyses in support of their efforts
  • Take ownership of projects from planning through execution and delivery, collaborating with partners to ensure deliverables that align with business needs
  • Evangelize performance stories, data democratization, and data-driven decision making throughout the organization
  • Help contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture at Peacock
  • Ability to oversee and evolve a team of managers within the streaming video analytics industry

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Media/Entertainment industry and with analytical experience working with large, complex data sets and analytical tools
  • Excellent communication skill and comfort speaking extemporaneously with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Degree in relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
