Data Analyst

About employment:

This role is responsible for data related activities such as: quality assurance (acid testing, primary data testing, RAP scoring) from data receipt to successful data upload to the data ingestion platform.

Responsibilities:

• Support all sourcing teams and supplier management and compliance specialists for any requests related to data quality testing for new or potential suppliers.
• Understand the data format agreed with the Supplier as per the contract and complete the configuration in Ingestion/any other Inbound platform
• Cleaning, verifying and classifying data as necessary.
• Troubleshooting with the Provider in case of data not in the agreed format or any other data upload issues, such as file issues (type/location/special characters, etc.)
• Responsible for submitting and contacting retailers to verify data queries or store inquiries (e.g. missing addresses, etc.)
• Load data/monitor autoload in ingest/any other input platform
• Regularly update supplier KPIs on timeliness and data quality
• Work with supplier management and compliance to improve quality KPIs for the supplier.
• Generate tickets and ensure resolution if there are any issues with Nielsen IQ systems to upload data for further processes.
• Resolve/escalate issues flagged by entry systems and follow up on closure.

Requirements

About you:

Data Analysts will be responsible for ingesting, configuring, loading and monitoring all data (all types) into the ingestion platform or other input platforms. This role is also responsible for cleaning, sorting and verifying received data, metadata management, troubleshooting and managing customer queries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or technical institute degree/certificate/Degrees in statistics/Data analysis or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of relevant professional work experience.
• Knowledge of R, Sql and Spotfire, Unix/Shell/Python.
• General system compression from an ETL point of view, using SQL or other tools.
• Language: English (Advance) - Spanish (intermediate)
