Civil Engineer - Stormwater Management

Position Overview: As a Civil Engineer specializing in stormwater management, you will play a vital role in the design and implementation of effective solutions for flood control, earthworks, grading, and site development. Utilizing your expertise in Civil 3D and HydroCAD, you will collaborate with project teams to deliver sustainable and resilient designs that meet client objectives and regulatory requirements across various market sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of stormwater management systems, flood control measures, and earthworks for residential, office, industrial, mixed-use, and retail projects.
• Utilize Civil 3D and HydroCAD software to assist in modeling and analyzing stormwater runoff, calculating flood risks, and designing drainage infrastructure.
• Support the development of grading plans, earthwork calculations, and site development strategies to optimize land use and mitigate environmental impacts.
• Collaborate with project teams, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Provide technical support and assistance to senior engineers as needed in stormwater management and site development projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in civil engineering practice, with a focus on stormwater management, flood control, earthworks, and grading.
• Advanced to expert proficiency in Civil 3D usage.
• Preferably with hydrology and hydraulics software for modeling stormwater runoff and designing stormwater management systems such as HydroCAD.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices related to stormwater management and site development.
• Experience working on residential, office, industrial, mixed-use, and retail projects.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and collaborate with remote teams during US business hours.

Work Sample Requirement:

• Grading plans, drainage plans, sitework, and utilities plans.
