This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

What you’ll do:

Management Level Definition:

Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Designs quality assurance and test processes for portions and subsystems of systems software
• Analyzes design and determines test scripts, coding, automation and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
• Executes and writes portions of testing plans and documentation for assigned portion of application
• Participates as a member of project team of other software quality assurance engineers to develop reliable and cost- effective testing and quality assurance solutions for assigned applications portion or subsystem.
• Collaborates and communicates with management regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Represents the software quality assurance team for all phases

**What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

• Typically, 2+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Domain Experience:

• Understanding of software testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and writing testing scripts.
• Automation/Manual Testing with Python.
• Understanding in using software quality assurance tools and processes.
• Understanding in deriving the test plan and solution test use cases
• Understanding with Agile methodology and tools
• Understanding with GitHub and Jenkins
• Knowledge of Dockers & Kubernetes is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good understanding of software architecture.
• Understanding of testing methodologies and test automation (methodologies, frameworks)
• Understanding of test planning and test execution - manual and automation
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Good analytical skills, ability to innovate and find new ways to solve complex problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Good to have skills:

• Basic understanding of Microservices.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Docker.
• Basic working knowledge of software tools like Github, Jira.
