ING is looking for an experienced IT Integrator with a passion for Engineering to help build on our ambition for the Wholesale banking (WB) Tech Customers & Channels area.

Your role and work environment

The purpose of the IT Integrator in WB Tech Customers & Channels area is to improve continuously and extend expertise as IT Integrators to coordinate delivery of complex solutions going beyond the scope of a Product and Tribe. The role is for Customer data.

To enable stability and reliability improvements for Customer Data, we want to be a frontrunner in technology and continuously develop improvements in the solutions. The translation from our architectural moonshot to the applications in our portfolio need to be concise, using latest supported technologies and future-proof.

You’re familiar with the latest technologies, architectural guidelines and agile Way of Working in order to be able to participate in various discussions and drive the implementation of desired solutions to achieve ambitions of the tribe.

You will work primarily with corporate customer data management side. Several initiatives are ongoing to be ready for the future and to make future innovations and improvements possible.

Your key responsibilities

• Align the different squads within the Tribe and area to achieve better and more effective processes in collaboration with other domains and Change experts. Take care of the IT part of these changes. Create implementation plan and co-ordinate dress rehearsals and test activities before implementation.
• Align several parties to create the capabilities for improvements, LCM and required migrations;
• You will lead also the Platform OPS engineers as such;
• Support the implementation of major releases which have big impact on the surrounding down- and upstream applications. Have the overview who should be involved and what has to be done before implementation can take place. Own the agreed approach, roadmap and implementation plan and monitor the progress to help the decision making for the final Go for the implementation.
• Ensuring that the architecture is implemented according to plan, minimizing technical/tactical debt. Escalations to management if required.
• Defining realistic and ambitious Implementation Roadmaps and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) items (3 quarters) together with Tribe Leads, Product Owners, IT leads, IT Custodian, Asset Owners and Squads including platform.
• Providing guidance to Engineers, managers and teams/squads for the platform by describing design patterns in Cookbooks together with the engineering discipline. Describes how these best practices can be implemented in practice.

You are an energetic and proactive IT Integrator with a passion for how to use the right tools and techniques for the Customers and Channels environments and a positive, “Do it-Try it-Fix it” mentality. You are a natural team player who forms relationships based on social skills rather than hierarchical structure. Close cooperation with your fellow IT Integrators, architects, management, and the DevOps squads is your greatest achievement.

You have a broad understanding of both technical and orange code competences with which you feel comfortable with all WB Tech services and find your way around the domains/tribes/squads globally. You continuously strive to develop both yourself and your colleagues in the security mind-set.

You can work and bring together multiple different stakeholders into one table, you are flexible enough to zoom in and out based on the context so being able to handle both details as well as big picture overview.

You are an ambassador for a solid, future proof IT architecture. This role requires emphasis on the following:

• You have knowledge on cyber security, data, security and privacy.

Education and background

• A personality and the capabilities to optimally function within an Agile environment
• Experience in guiding and realizing change
• Experience/affinity with Wholesale Banking is a pre
• Professional and intellectual IT skills at bachelor or university level, preferably master’s degree in engineering
• Excellent verbal and written command of English
