๐ Your Role as a Purchasing Negotiation Expert
You will be part of our Purchasing team to support complex negotiations for direct and indirect material services. You will utilize mathematical models and analytical techniques to understand strategic interactions and improve decision-making processes. Your role involves developing game models and apply game-theory concepts to real world scenarios, including business negotiations, auctions, and conflict resolutions.
๐ ๏ธ Your Tasks
- Develop game models by designing mathematical models and frameworks to represent various decision-making scenarios, considering factors such as players, strategies, playoffs, and information;
- Implement game theory concepts and models to address real-world scenarios, including business negotiations, auctions, and conflict resolution;
- Provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making based on the analysis of game models and outcomes for complex negotiations;
- Communicate complex concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations and reports;
- Provide consulting, training, and coaching to your Purchasing colleagues and relevant internal stakeholders;
- Oversee market price monitoring for key raw materials as well as monitoring and analyzing global market trends and price developments for key raw materials and their impact on key commodities cost structure;
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in raw materials markets to provide actionable insights and recommendations during negotiation modelling.
Requirements
๐ What You Bring:
Education: completed university studies in economics, business , industrial engineering, mathematics or a comparable subject
- Experience and Knowledge: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior negotiation role in purchasing and/or sales
- In-depth knowledge and experience in game theory , negotiation training's, strategic thinking
- Experience in software tools for game theory applications
- Proven expertise in raw material price analysis, including hands-on experience with market research and data analysis
- Knowledge and experience in managing complex projects successfully
