WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We need a Senior, Strategic Sourcing Management, GC experienced in ATL and BTL categories under Marketing and Events pillar to join our Greater China and Asia Pacific Procurement Team located in Shanghai, China. Procurement plays a critical role in supporting business growth, driving innovation, and mitigating risk through internal and external partnerships. We count on our strategic sourcing managers to bring procurement visions to life. The capable Senior, Strategic Sourcing Management, GC master sourcing basics, execute sourcing activities with excellence, and deliver sourcing projects on time on quality to achieve category goals.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
This role lands category sourcing strategies through sourcing projects delivery, which includes:
• Execute category sourcing strategies and bring identified sourcing projects to life.
• Establish project plans with clear timelines and related deliverables, adjust quickly and attains goals when environment changes.
• Lead RFX and secure Nike’s best interests with proper SOW, SLA, or KPI set up.
• Partner with internal project teams and external suppliers to bring external in and maximize value delivery.
• Explore sourcing opportunities to fulfill category’s goals.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
This role will report to DIRECTOR, MARKETING & EVENTS PROCUREMENT GC/AP. He/She will partner with multiple project teams in various working styles and culture backgrounds, as well as managing external suppliers. He/She will work closely with category leads under Marketing and Events pillar to identify sourcing opportunities and activate sourcing projects. He/She is a key enabler on sourcing strategy deployment and execution.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
A successful candidate for this role should be able to:
• Link daily sourcing activities to category sourcing strategy. Lead sourcing projects with clear project objectives and project plan. Decide most suitable sourcing tactics based on given business circumstance and market dynamics. Follow up and follow through with execution excellence.
• Decide the most suitable commercial agreement with proper deal structures and governing languages to protect Nike’s best interests and mitigate business risks in different business cases.
• Prioritize and apply appropriate efforts according to the impacts of the projects. Proactively seek for solutions and manage expectations in complex situations. Instill trust with internal and external business partners by aligning words with actions.
• Purposefully manage up and down with flexible and efficient communications. Build and influence relationships internally and externally with cross-functional diverse teams.
• Navigate through Coupa and familiar with Aravo, SAP, Conpa, etc.
• 5+ years’ relevant sourcing experiences is preferred.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
• Bachelor degree is a must. Advanced degree is preferred.
