Position Summary

This is an exciting, position for a senior salesperson to join a growing cross-regional APAC team! The role specializes in leading and structuring sales of software and data products focused on Digital Wealth Solutions for Advisors and Retail Investors – with a very strong focus on the buyside and specifically Wealth Management firms. We target a wide range of personas who require data and analytics as well as engaging Digital content.

As a "hunter" in pre-sales and pursuit activities, you will join a team and we will act alongside Account Managers focusing on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for the Wealth proposition in the Pacific (Australia & New Zealand) market with both existing and new customers. You will lead on deals aligned to the Wealth proposition and serve accounts within the Pacific market. The role works in close partnership with internal teams to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.

This role is exclusively about gross sales - to both existing and new clients, with future potential territory expansion depending on performance, and regular travel around the Pacific region (Australia & New Zealand) required. Extensive training and support is provided, and involves working in close partnership with junior sales associates, account managers, solution consultants and customer success managers to proactively drive revenue growth.

Role Responsibilities

  • Cover the Pacific market for the allocated solutions to address the needs of the buyside, with a focus on Digital Wealth
  • Creatively structure, hunt and close deals
  • Proactively and consistently hunt for new opportunities
  • Develop the sales strategy within assigned territory / account base
  • Build long term relationships with professionals across various targeted industries
  • Deliver customer demonstrations on our data science related product offerings

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Deep market understanding including a) understanding of financial markets b) knowledge of the Wealth Advisory & Retail Self-Directed investment markets, and c) a strong understanding of customers' business model workflow
  • While product knowledge is a plus, enthusiasm and solid selling skills are a far more important
  • Strong sales closer!
  • Strong presentation skills (verbal & written)
  • Experience driving sales strategies
  • 7-10 years of industry, sales or market experience
  • Consistent track record in a quota bearing sales environment
