About the role: As a recognized product visionary, you will propose, and often drive new business or product strategies and mentor and informally lead cross-functional team members. The ClinicalKey AI Product Principal is a model of Product Management Excellence across the company. You will drive one of the most visible products, requiring extensive company coordination and tight alignment with key business partners. The areas owned are highly strategic, critical to customers and often require an innovative approach. You will efficiently drive solutions to problems across organizations and disciplines without assistance and set the agenda for the product domain(s), driving program execution, working directly with multiple delivery teams. This is only an opportunity for those with an extensive Clinical Workflow product expertise.

About the team: This team is entrusted with the next-generation ClinicalKey AI product development and delivery. This product integrates Elsevier's comprehensive and trusted evidence-based content, including books, journals, drug, and clinical references, into a user-friendly and highly advanced conversational search interface.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Owning of the ClinicalKey AI vision and roadmap
  • Collaborating with Tech Partner. Works with external technology partner to ensure excellence in generative AI efforts
  • Working with product managers to ensure that product requirements are captured and conveyed to delivery and other tech teams
  • Ensuring product teams deliver current roadmap, develops business cases
  • Working with customer-facing teams to ensure automation of user activation, management and engagement as needed
  • Ensuring alignment of product roadmap with significant market opportunities defined by Commercial colleagues. Working with User Experience and customer-facing colleagues to ensure critical use cases are prioritized and addressed via development partners and user research.
  • Working with commercial, customer-facing and marketing colleagues to ensure customer-facing materials resonate with the market. Working with reporting team to ensure reporting is prioritized and delivered as needed

Critical Experiences:

  • Possess current and extensive experience with Health Information Technology, Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementations, consulting, configuration or product management
  • Experience with collaborating with an external vendor for a partnership
  • Have a natural ability to engage, influence and build relationships with stakeholders and teams across the business
  • Have experience of leading, managing and delivering customer projects successfully
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and teams to resolve issues and to support implemented solutions
  • Be an experienced problem solver, with a methodical approach to solving complex customer issues
  • ​Identifies and highlights new trends, potential problems and opportunities early
  • Is capable of driving an organizational culture of hypothesis-testing and data-driven decision making
