We are looking for a Senior Developer to join the SwapClear Reporting Development team based in Bengaluru.

The successful candidate must have a Computer Science orientated degree and confirmed ETL/Oracle/Snowflake development skills. The candidate will work on delivery of projects, carry out improvements and provide support on a highly critical clearing system.

Individuals should be mindful of company standards in development, testing and code management.

They will collaborate closely and coordinate with business users and other technology areas so good interpersonal skills are crucial.

Main responsibilities

  • Analysis, design and development of tasks given
  • Timely delivery of developments to a high standard and quality
  • Supporting and Utilising company standards for development
  • Effectively follow the development practices
  • Providing development life cycle documentation at all stages of systems life cycle. i.e. requirement, solution, design, implementation.
  • Providing documentation to support to Production.
  • Communicate optimally with Senior Development Managers

Essential skills

  • 6 yrs+ experience in ETL/ELT-Informatica Development Experience
  • Data modelling experience in both Oracle and Snowflake
  • Python Programming skills with particular experience with Anaconda, Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas. Familiarity with testing tools eg; pytest, static analysis tools like pylint/flake8. Programming aids like mypy, docstrings
  • Power BI
  • Unix Shell Scripting
  • Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
  • Snowflake
  • AWS/Azure
  • Financial Experience (particularly in RISK systems)
  • Excellent Analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Agile development techniques

Very Desirable

  • Business Objects 4.3
  • Good working knowledge of Continuous Integration
  • Spark
  • Knowledge of Murex
  • Exprience of migrating Informatica PowerCenter to alternative tech

  • Hard working, willing to put in extra hours and effort when the project requires
