Position Overview

The Vice President of Hospitality Global Accounts is responsible for leading the Hospitality VPSA team, developing and executing the strategic sales direction, and building strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience and a passion for our hospitality business, a customer-centric mindset, and a proven track record of delivering results in a complex and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with key Shaw Contract team members to establish the Hospitality strategic sales direction. Uses economic outlooks, customer data and analysis to determine priorities and outline a 1-, 3- and 5-year plan.
  • Leads the Hospitality VPSA team, coaching and developing, inspiring passion and leading through vision and values.
  • Establishes growth goals and metrics for the Hospitality VPSA team to clarify performance and develop paths of recognition.
  • Design a business planning process and create yearly business plan, collaborating with Hospitality VPSAs and RVPs
  • Evaluates short term and long-term business performance to determine team needs.
  • Develops strategies for working with the DVP and RVP teams on business outlooks.
  • Responsible for developing strong trusting relationships within the top 25 key customers across Brands, Purchasing and End Users.
  • Creates a networking plan, internally and externally to improve and drive business goals.
  • Builds confidence internally and externally through deep understanding of enterprise capabilities through the lens of customer obsession.
  • Communicates effectively to sell the strategy and be an advocate to our Hospitality Agents.
  • Collaborates to create a Hospitality growth mindset, developing a strategic direction short and long term to grow the business.
  • Exercises business acumen and makes connections to determine opportunities and leverage strategic partnerships.
  • Connects frequently with key internal stakeholders and develops a feedback loop.
  • Participates in Hospitality events and trade shows to target opportunities, connect the Brand with the clients and leverage cross-functional resources to further Shaw Contract Hospitality as a preferred partner.
  • Assists with onboarding and training initiatives as needed.
  • Establishes a trusting relationship with Marketing and Design leaders, Custom Design Team Leaders, Global VPSA Leaders, Operations partners and other enterprise areas as needed.
  • Participates in the custom SPT to represent and take responsibility for industry insights and actions relevant to sales execution.
  • Works closely with SIS and RVPs on Brand Standard inventory and forecasting.
  • Competitive awareness and understanding Hospitality competitors positioning and pricing strategies and share insights to the broader team.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial interiors industry experience and 5+ year progressive leadership experience – individuals and teams with lateral influence skills
  • Sales experience working across commercial channels and preferably in the Hospitality segment
  • Growth mindset and passion for results with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, influence and collaborate across functions and levels
  • Required travel for client meetings, sales conferences and trade shows to build trusting relationships and promote the segment and Brand.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
