Merchant Solutions Technology

The Merchant Solutions Technology group provides the Corporate Bank with a dedicated team that capitalizes on the rapidly evolving technology industry to provide our clients new products and innovation to meet their growing needs within an Agile FinTech-like setup. We deliver innovative products such as our Digital Payment Gateway (creating an API based solution allowing Marketplaces and Merchant to streamline their payment processing and settlement activities). As part of our new data team at the Berlin Tech Hub you will work closely with our business stakeholders and product managers in an agile environment to address business intelligence needs in the areas of anti-financial crime, risk management and product development for Merchant Solutions.

As an Agile@Scale Engineer (f/m/x) you will be working responsible for end to end to develop process for delivery of entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals within our Agile transformation framework.

Your key responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify strategic key business objectives and provide solution recommendations while performing business proves and management consulting analysis.
• Management of Agile@Scale tribe wide processes (QBR planning, sprint co-ordination, ceremonies etc), executed in coordination with Technology Leads and Product Managers to plan tribe wide delivery, whilst taking responsibility for planning the management of scope, costs, schedule and risk mitigation.
• Execution of program and project management, e.g .: project initiation, budget and timeline estimates, project progress monitoring, status reports
• Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off and ensure effective completion of project milestones.
• Enhancing the existing Agile culture of the tribe combining training and collaboration alongside processes and tools, to push the tribe further alongs its Agile transformation and delivery model.

Your skills and experiences

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, e.g. business, innovation, information systems or computer science; specialization/ additional degree/ certification in agile or project management is a plus
• Strong Experience in Agile and Lean practices (e.g. Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework - SAFe) and other Agile delivery processes / tools within a strategic delivery environment.
• Mental flexibility and resilience, analytical, structured as well as solution-oriented thinking, highly self-motivated and independent as well as fast comprehension skill
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (especially Pivot) and MS PowerPoint (especially strong conceptual and presentation skills as well as slide deck creation i.e. story lining, layout, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English; German language knowledge would be a plus.
