Strategic Development Manager (Chief of Staff)

Description -

The Chief of Staff is a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the Vice President of Ink Supplies and Ink Operations. This role coordinates executive communications, oversees special projects, and ensures the efficient operation of the VP’s office. The Chief of Staff works closely with senior leaders across the organization to drive key initiatives and support the strategic goals of the Ink Supplies and Ink Operations division.

As part of the above charter, following are specific responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive Executive Support to the VP of ISIO, including facilitating key leadership meetings and representing the organization at external engagements.
  • Actively participate in the Global Business Planner forum to ensure strategic alignment with corporate objectives and maintain a global perspective on business planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and key stakeholders to oversee budgetary matters and conduct in-dept analysis for workforce planning, identifying critical gaps and implementing targeted talent management strategies.
  • Drive organization goal alignment and process optimization by engaging stakeholders to identify operational challenges and develop sustainable solutions in line with strategic priorities.
  • Establish and maintain robust operating framework across the organization, encompassing internal and external communication, business reviews, reporting mechanisms and business newsletters.
  • Strategic alliance with HR to cultivate a positive organizational culture, foster employee engagement and champion initiatives that position the organization as an employer of choice in the industry.
  • Accountable for the reporting of organization business metrics (OKRs, business dashboard etc).
  • Lead the workforce planning.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Minimum undergraduate Degree of any discipline with 8 to 10 years of experience. People management experience is preferred.
  • Experience in dealing with multiple Partners and Stakeholders.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent in critical analytical thinking, adept at analysis and skilled in problem-solving.
  • Demonstrates a strong drive for transformational initiatives with a keen curiosity and a knack for asking insightful questions.
  • Communicates complex and abstract ideas with clarity and precision, independently manages multifaceted project objectives and excels in verbal and written communication, negotiation, presentations and influencing stakeholders.
  • Possesses advanced business & technical acumen across diverse business units with a deep understanding of applications and technologies.
  • Exhibits excellent project management capabilities, including structured project planning and managing concurrent work streams autonomously. Proficient in group facilitation, interviewing and influencing others effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent relationship management abilities including proficiency in partnering and consulting, with a strong capability to collaborate effectively in achieving results through teamwork.
  • Exhibits strong leadership skills encompassing coaching, team-building, conflict resolution and effective management.
  • Thrives in ambiguous environments, adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and exercises sound judgement in decision-making.

Impact/Scope:

  • Typically partners with Directors and VP-level.
  • Develops strategic goals for multiple stakeholders.
