What an Office Growth Product Manager does at HP:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Growth Product Manager to play a pivotal role in Office Growth Market strategy. In this critical position, you will be responsible for the following key objectives:

  • Own a plan to grow Office portfolio in a specific geographical region, ensuring 1yr -3yr business plan definition and execution, from product definition to GTM tactics
  • Achieving share and profitability targets
  • Instilling pride in our go-to-market teams through our solutions value proposition and offerings
  • Define a future roadmap aligned with market requirements and business expectations
  • Cultivating a spirit of determination and curiosity within the product marketing team
  • Strengthening Office Print strategy and fostering a culture of excellence
  • Understanding current customer needs per segment and inferring future customer needs based on market and customer trends
  • Specify requirements for a printer/solution/service
  • Fostering a relationship with Go-To-Market teams, channel partners and key customers
  • Partner with Future Product Managers on prioritizing the right customer needs for future customer offerings
  • Develop a long term business view for the specific geographical region, with specifics into portfolio needs and business outcomes
  • Co-responsible for business execution in emerging market with current portfolio, in partnership with

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience
  • Typically, 10+ years Product and Project/Program Management experience
  • Typically, 2+ years in a Growth Product Manager role
  • Passion for delivering data driven outcomes. Enjoys performing their own data analysis to drive initial conclusions.
  • Experience with data visualization and presenting data in a clear and simple manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills; ability to work across in person as well as virtual team environments.
  • Comfortable presenting to all levels of management and customers to effectively make a compelling business case when prioritizing initiatives and developing experiments
  • Hands-on technical skills with the inquisitiveness to learn products, work with them, and provide recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Able to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a global and multicultural environment
  • Diplomacy to successfully work with a cross-functional team and with different departments depending on the initiative
  • Able to manage multiple work streams effectively and provide timely updates to leadership
  • Comfortable and effective working in new areas that require experimentation and rapid problem solving
  • The ability to identify and reduce friction in the user experience
  • A willingness to fearlessly question assumptions and challenge the status quo, based on knowledge of customers (e.g., Why do they use the product? What are their problems? What are the barriers to value?)
