Hybridization Engineer

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Engineering department of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be responsible for managing engineering processes and activities during all stages of projects (development, construction, O&M). You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Serving as the point of contact in the Engineering department for internal customers and managing cooperation between engineers from different technologies (wind, BESS, PV) and functions (electrical, mechanical, civil, I&C)
• Acting as a bridge to ensure smooth communication and collaboration between engineers and other teams, including project management, procurement, development, O&M, and finance
• Creating, analyzing, and improving standards and processes to streamline work, and preparing summaries and lessons learned
• Sharing knowledge internally and externally and analyzing projects to identify potential risks
• Conducting site visits and representing the company at professional events
• Supporting the Head of Engineering in planning workloads, hiring, and training for the Engineering department, and coordinating and evaluating the Hybridization Engineering sub-department.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical, civil, or power engineering with a local construction license
• 3+ years of experience in RES, including team and project management
• Knowledge of RES market and technologies
• Strong skills in cost estimation, engineering planning, and risk assessment
• Excellent self and team management abilities
• Proficient in creating standards, moderating processes, and writing technical reports
• Strong analytical, cooperation, prioritization, and communication skills
• Fluent in English and advanced in Microsoft Office Suite.

Would be an advantage:

• Experience in onshore/offshore wind, PV solar, or energy storage.
