Business Banking (BB) offer a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers. BB Customer & Risk Analytics sits within the wider Analytics, Data, and Decision Science (ADDS) team, part of Customer Channel and Data (CCD) in BB.
BB Customer & Risk Analytics is the analytical function that supports Customer Risk, Remediation and Customer Lifecycle Management activities.
Do work that matters:
This key role will partner with the BB Remediation team to design and implement analytical solutions across the business and drive stakeholder outcomes to deliver better customer experiences. You will uplift people capabilities through engagement networks and community forums.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Liaise with Business Banking Remediation team to deliver data and analysis to support customer remediation activities.
- Build end-to-end reporting and interactive dashboards using Tableau or R-Shiny.
- Develop and automate analytical solutions using SQL, Python or R.
- Present analytical insights to stakeholders to give advice to our business partners.
- Lead projects and initiatives as required to support our Customer & Risk stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation of your analysis and version control of code/scripts using tools such as GitHub.
- Support your peers with quality assurance (QA) reviews and ensure that results are replicable.

- Proven experience working with SQL to extract data from complex datasets.
- Analytical tools and platforms such as Python, R Studio and/or Github is preferred.
- Previous experience liaising with less analytical stakeholders to solve business problems with data.
- Ability to influence stakeholders with data-driven insights.
- Tertiary degree in Economics, Commerce or a quantitative degree, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science is preferred.
